Medicines for people who cannot afford them.

Helping Life Charitable Trust gives free medicines to patients in need. We draw on our trustees’ long experience in India’s pharmaceutical trade to source safe, in-date medicines and get them to the people who have been prescribed them.

Pharmaceutical company, distributor or chemist with surplus stock? Donate medicines

No one should skip a prescribed medicine because of its price.

For many families, a doctor’s visit is only half the battle. The medicines that follow, especially for long-term illness, can cost more than a household can manage. We step in so treatment does not stop.

  • Patients from low-income familieswho have a prescription but cannot pay for the medicines on it.
  • People living with long-term conditionswho need the same medicines every month, often for years.
  • Elderly people with limited supportmanaging several medicines on a small or no income.
  • Families hit by a sudden medical expenseafter a hospital stay, an accident or a new diagnosis.
